Within the void land
虚土にて
I positioned this piece within the space as an extension of myself—a material projection of consciousness—opening a seamless connection to the natural world. Through this gesture, the work seeks to inhabit a state of dynamic equilibrium: where lightness and weight, strength and fragility, and reality and projection coexist in mutual dependence.
In this suspended condition, the piece becomes a symbolic “land,” evoking the presence of ground even in the absence of actual soil or earth.

The moment we began to use written language, the symbolic realm broke through the layers of sound and symbols, opening up a deeper, more intricate world—an infinite reproduction of the symbolic realm transcending time and space. Everything we do or say now only gains meaning after the construction of this symbolic order. Thus, we are both slaves to this order and the symbolic order itself.
